Mansfield Gadd Pty Ltd was established in April 2005 and is managed by myself with over 15 years experience in underground mining and construction.
We have drawn together, people from various backgrounds to form a team that have and will in the future, prove to be an affordable asset to any mining company or major contractor. We are based on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast close to Brisbane which allows us access to mine sites Australia wide.

Our company name is a tribute to Albert Mansfield Gadd, a miner himself, who was involved in the rescue operation of miners trapped by fire and smoke in the 1912 Mount Lyell Mine Disaster, Tasmania, where 42 men died. Albert volunteered to enter the mine with others over three days of search and rescue, he was hospitalized soon after and died four months later due to mon-oxide poisoning. The Royal Humane Society awarded him the Clarke Gold Medal for his bravery. His friends erected a plaque "Greater love hath no man than this that he gave up his life for his mates"  He was 32 years old.

The service we provide involves all major and minor service works and construction air leg work including the installation of underground grizzlies, installation of vent cans, installation of underground primary ventilation fans, secondary ventilation fans, pipe installations, underground gantry crane installations, DBR walls and VCR charging.. to name a few.

Amongst our key people we hold experiences and knowledge in underground construction, shaft excavation and fit out, city tunnel projects and general hard rock mining. Mansfield Gadd Pty Ltd has a different out look on what a success means. We believe that by staying reasonably small and forming a trusted bond amongst our employees and staff, we can keep a high level of experience and work ethics, therefore building our reputation as an affordable asset in the mining industry.

Focusing on meeting schedules safely and presentation of our completed tasks are major attributes which sets Mansfield Gadd Pty Ltd apart from similar providers. Furthering our excellent reputation is our key to a successful future.
